Turkey enjoys an enviable weather with long hot summers lasting well over eight months in many parts. The climate in Turkey does vary, along the Mediterranean and Aegean coast the summer enjoys adistinctive Mediterranean sunny, hot summers with hardly any rain and the winters are mild with rain. The North of Turkey, the Black Sea region, has a much more humid and oceanic climate with hot and humid summers and cool damp winters.

When it comes to food, your pallet will be spoilt for choice.  Turkey’s cuisine is a coming together of Europe, Middle East, Asia and Africa resulting in a fusion of flavours that will leave your taste buds desiring more. Turkish meals usually start with the Meze, a selection of hot and cold small plates meant for sharing. The main meal will usually be meat or fish, Lamb is the favoured meat which is used to produce the famous Turkish Kofte and Sis Kebab’s.
